You also Owe $729...

The bottom line of any business is cost. In terms of the invasion and occupation of Iraq that cost may be measured in dollars and lives. Costing billions of dollars, the per person cost of the invasion is around $729. Can you imagine what we could have accomplished with that money?
We get accurate updates on the deaths of American soldiers, but not a lot of information on the number of Iraqi civilian deaths. Those estimates range from 5,000 people to over 25,000 depending on who you ask. The pentagon doesn't keep those statistics.

In the photo, are those all coffins for American soldiers? (And if so, where the heck did you find it?)

How many Iraqi citizens are killed because of a battle, and how many are killed by terrorists and evil people of the old regime? I only ask, because maybe we aren't doing all the killing. ;)

Does it really matter when so many thousands of people are dead? Or better yet, is the life of an Iraqi worth less than the life of an American (regardless of how they have been killed)?
No - the life of an Iraqi citizen isn't less than that of an American. I was simply raising the point that we are so quick to blame the American army and the war, when it's mostly terrorists. I'm not saying that we shouldn't report it. I'm saying that when we do, it should be fairly. I'm pretty sure that the Pentagon keeps a record of the amount of civilians killed in combat. If that number was released (and it might have been), it might be significantly less than the 5000 to 25000 figure that was stated in this post. And if it has been released, do you honestly think that it would be portrayed in a light that was fair to our troops? I don't think so. Which is why I asked whether or not that number was because of terrorists or troops. It DOES make a difference when it comes to the media and the media portrayal.
